KREA-GENIC™ – Double Buffered for more stability

Unlike common buffered creatine versions KREA-GENIC™ is protected by two buffers.

Difference between single and double buffered creatine

(Schematic)

Creatine monohydrate
with a single acid buffer
Single Buffered
KREA-GENIC™
with two acid buffers
Double Buffered
Remains stable in the stomach (single) Remains stable in stomach
and blood (double)
Bad absorption into muscles Nearly loss-free absorption into muscles
No transport booster Quick absorption due to natural use of the sodium dependant transport mechanism.

Relevance for athletes

The dosage of common creatine forms usually amounted 20 g or more per day. This amount was indeed necessary to achieve a result. A large amount of creatine was already destroyed in the stomach and therefore an athlete had to take more creatine.

How did this destruction happen?

The stomach is filled with gastric acid. This acid with a pH-value of 1,8 is essential e.g. to destroy bacteria in food or to induce the splitting of proteins. Unfortunately this acid also destroys common creatine.

Acid buffer for more stability

A buffer was applied to buffer the destructive acid and protect the creatine from being destroyed in the gastric acid. Then, the creatine compound arrived in the stomach with pH 10 and met with pH 1,8. As result, the buffer worked as protection and the creatine was not or only to a small extent, destroyed.

KREA-GENIC™ ist double buffered - absorption booster

KREA-GENIC™ contains two buffers: One to buffer the gastric acid in the stomach and one to buffer the blood. That is new and the biggest advantage of KREA-GENIC™.
Even if the creatine comes through the stomach intact, it still has to get into the muscle. That is far more important!

KREA-GENIC™

contains the buffer sodium carbonate (Na2Co3) for the stomach and sodium bicarbonate (NaHCo3) as natural buffer for the blood, so that the creatine arrives safely at its destination – the muscle.

That’s unique. That is double-buffered. That is the next generation.

This is no simple compound of low quality creatine plus “baking powder”, but a molecular compound of two buffers and extremely pure creatine monohydrate (CHINA-FREE).

Titration of creatine with 0,1 M HCI

The following diagram shows the stability of KREA-GENIC™ in acid environment:

– • – pH Single buffered creatine

– • – pH KREA-GENIC™

Titration of creatine

Single buffered creatine = Remains stable longer than unbuffered creatine.

KREA-GENIC™ = long stability because of its two buffers.

Excursion pH-value

The pH value is a measurement for the intensity of the acidic resp. alkaline effect of an aqueous solution.

pH < 7 equals a solution with acidic effect

pH = 7 equals a neutral solution

pH > 7 equals an alkaline solution (basic effect)
